A Day in the Life of a Woman of the Bible

This workshop explores what it means to live as a woman of the Bible, including where she lived, what she ate and what she wore.  It also explores the place in society, religion, and family of these women of the Bible.  It will also look at several women of the Bible, including some women that have been given the reputation for being “bad girls.”

Although Kay has spent her whole career in the automobile industry, her real love is the Bible. Several years ago she discovered that although she had been “churched” all of her life, she had very little Bible knowledge.  With that discovery she began her life long journey of Bible “discovery.”

Along the way she found there were many other people who felt their Bible knowledge was lacking, so she began leading Bible workshops.  She has led workshops on “Removing the Roadblocks to Bible Study,” “Bible Basics” and “What’s Up with the Bible.”

How Did Women of the Bible Handle Child Birth and Other Womanly Issues?

The Bible doesn’t provide much information about these things but this workshop will present some theories – including the possible role of a mid wife including a “mid-wife kit”.  Participants will look at a possible birthing position and how women of the Bible handled their menstrual cycle.
