Work & Prayer: Pathways to Peace and Joy

Our Christian calling is to know God and to be in communion with God through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. This workshop is designed for the busy person who wants to achieve more peace and joy at work and home.  It is based upon insights from 2000 years of Christian traditions, especially the writings from the Benedictine tradition. 

Dr. William Hine is Dean of the School of Continuing Education at Eastern Illinois University and a Professor of Education in the College of Education and Professional Studies.  He is an ordained Disciples of Christ Minister; an Oblate at St. Meinrad’s Arch Abbey and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Christian Theological Seminary.  Dean’s research interest are in the background areas of adult learning theory, third age learning and issues in regards to spirituality.
