Rev. Myer is a graduate of the University of Chicago Divinity School. She has served as a Global Mission Intern in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, a chaplain at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts, as an Associate Pastor at St. Andrew Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Olathe, Kansas and as lead pastor of Hope Church, a vital and growing congregation in the greater Boston area.

Elizabeth presently serves as Minister of Discipleship at Old South Church in downtown Boston.  She captured the imagination of Disciples across the United States and Canada as one of the "Boston Women", preaching at the 2007 General Assembly in Fort Worth, Tex.
